Quadris provides IT services and solutions to private and public sector organisations across the UK and Europe. We are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join our senior management team and oversee the financial management of our growing business. This includes managing a small finance team. This role reports to a part-time CFO.​

Financial Overview of Quadris:​​

Quadris is undergoing significant growth and expects to double revenues by the end of FY2324. Quadris finance processes include multi-currency, accrual accounting on the sales of goods and services (including subscription services). Payroll processing it outsourced. Sales range from simple product sales to larger project and services sales which include associated COGS. Quadris sells to customers in the UK, EU and non-EU countries.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


Mentor and develop the key skills and capabilities of the finance team​

Oversight and management of monthly bookkeeping​

Take ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations (bank and cash, accruals, deferred income, trade creditors)​

Oversee outsourced payroll and PAYE processing​

VAT return preparation and submission​

Lead on year end close of Quickbooks for accounts preparation​

Effectively engage and liaise with our accountants for taxation, VAT and Payroll matters​

Recruit and build the finance team as the business needs develop​

Identify and embed key financial controls and processes across the business and implement a continual improvement approach to the finance area​

Take responsibility for effective use of systems by Quadris personnel where they relate to financial and commercial processes (Quotes, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Invoice, Payment)​

Collaborate with the senior leadership team as a sounding board for financial and operational advice, providing commercial input to strategic decision making and day to day operational matters​

Take ownership of financial forecasting and budgeting. We use the Modano forecasting tool and this supplier also provides training and preparation of forecast models which this role should oversee and tap into as necessary​

Deliver reporting of financial KPIs and management information​

Oversight of all Company Secretarial matters (minutes, dividends, share certificates)​

Prepare financial analysis to support decision making on new products/services/framework agreements​

Monitor D&B credit score and look to improve where possible​

Take ownership of credit control​

Oversee stock management process​

Oversee expense management process​

Support the use of technology to enhance automation of finance functions where possible​

Essential Skills and Qualifications:


Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant or hold sufficient experience and skills that meet the expectations of those qualifications.​

Experience of working with similar scale of business​

Experience of sales and purchase ordering processes and resulting financial implications​

Software systems management / improvement / implementation experience​

Ability to learn and transfer skills to others​

Good communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance people to help them understand financial information and adopt new ways of working that impact our financial management​

Experience of financial forecasting

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:


Previous experience of Quickbooks or similar ​

Experience of subscription based and project-based sales organisations.​​

Experience of implementing new systems and procedures.​

Excel based forecasting models (ideally Modano but not expected)​

Financial management of exporting to EU and Non-EU countries and associated implications for financial management
